We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was lovely however we found it slightly uncomfortable - it’s quite snug and the furniture does not reflect the photos - the bigger sofa was not fabric but a hard leather and quite small. The armchair was a little more comfortable but quite old and worn. The kitchen was lovely and easy to use, had basic amenities which was handy. Nice eating area but table not very sturdy. The stairs are really something … very tricky to get up and down especially as we had a little baby. Upstairs the beds were not too comfortable again but they did the job. Location is great, near lots of nice villages and beaches, we visited burnham market, holt, holkham beach etc. Wells itself was very quiet (obviously due to the time of year), most pubs closed. We didn’t mind though, lots of nice walks. Overall we enjoyed our stay thank you very much

Very cosy and well located cottage. Very clean throughout. Kitchen could benefit from a small library stool to reach pots and pans, a few pasta bowls and a non stick frying pan. Otherwise it was excellently equipped for its size. Bus stops are virtually outside to walk in either direction on the coastal path or to the beach. Parking is easy. Great new bakery/ cofffe shop / cafe called The Two Magpies on the quay. Suited for two adults sharing rather than three because of cosy size and bathroom arrangements, although there is a separate WC. Would be fine for adults with a child who can climb stairs. The stairs is tricky - requires care - maybe an additional handhold at the bottom? There is a little noise from traffic early morning / bin collection and the interior is a bit gloomy due to keeping blinds down for privacy. Otherwise perfect for a short stay, especially out of summer season. We would visit again as it was very good value and perfect for walkers who are out all day.

Such a great spot in Wells to get either to the beach or town centre. Both easily walkable and great spots for coffees & breakfast nearby too. Also on a good bus route if you wanted to go further afield and avoid driving. Cottage itself is delightfully cosy & homely, just one word of warning if you're quite tall - watch out for some of the low doorways! We loved our stay here.
