Place is hard to find and getting in. Lack of instructions. Honestly, the property doesn’t look that big as it seems in the photos, noisy main road. The host is friendly and responsive though.

The place was a great location to the local train station for people wanting access to the city. We did however have some concerns regarding the cleanliness of the place. Some examples include mouldy plates and cooking utensils which he said we should just put through the dishwasher. We provided photo evidence of our concerns however has denied the claim. There was an issue with an internal door being locked. Leaving us locked out of the house. The host reportedly doesn’t live in Sydney so could not provide keys to the household. There was initially conflict over the phone as he was initially declining to help with the issue. Once we discussed getting Air BnB involved, the host was prompt in getting the issue resolved. Overall, the place would be great for a family needing somewhere to stay in Sydney. However, while a “great investment” for Joy, there should be more consideration and detail for cleanliness and presentation

owner was quite responsive and flexible. He accepted an early check in which was appreciated. However, the house has so many missing amenities. e.g only 4 no chairs around a 6 seater dining table. no coffee table in front of a sofa. cuttleries were dull and knives didn't even cut bananas! unorganised dishes and cups, no toaster (owner offered to pay for that though which I didn't have enough time to go and shop for house) no toys or fun things for kids, lagging of outdoor setting when a big verandah and backyard is available. windows had one blackout blinds!!! with no screen. Imagine during afternoon and evenings, house gets hot and humid (specially upper level) and you cannot open the window as insect will bite you and you cannot roll up windows either as you lose privacy. it was just as hot as a sauna.
