We had a lovely stay. Perfect location and lovely place with some charming touches. Great host and everything we needed to enjoy a 2 night stay.
A very characterful property and we appreciated the fixtures and fittings. It was very well equipped and Keren has provided everything you would want, and more. Maybe not the property for someone with mobility issues. Stairs were very steep. Would definitely rebook this spotless property if returning to Machynlleth.
We absolutely loved Keren’s place. The house is well equipped and full of thoughtful touches which made it feel really warm and welcoming. We particularly loved the wet room style bathroom, the shower was fantastic, and my personal favourite was the bathtub in the master bedroom. The artwork around the house adds a wonderfully personal atmosphere. The stairs are super cute but could be a challenge for those with limited mobility. Communication with Keren was great and very speedy. We would definitely come back again but this time for longer as there is so much to explore in the local area. I can’t recommend the beach at Aberdovey enough, it’s spectacular, and the hike up Cadair Idris although not for the faint hearted or weak kneed, has views that would take your breath away.
Karen‘s place was beautifully furnished and very clean. It made for a very cosy break. We did find the front access steps and the second floor stairs quite steep but they are as described. Great location to explore the coastline in the area. Thank you for having us.
Wow what can I say?! This is such a beautiful property, which we could see had been renovated with lots of love & attention to detail. We were so comfortable in the home and it had everything we needed. Machynlleth is a picturesque little town with lots of local shops and an amazing bakery! We also travelled into Aberdyfi, Aberystwyth, Barmouth and had a look at the Mach loop. It is in a great location. Thank you for an amazing stay, we would recommend to anyone!

I'm Keren, I'm an artist, art facilitator and mum of two girls. I mostly paint, weave and felt, some of which you will see in the house. We live in London but grew up on the welsh borders and so love to get back there to wall in the hills and relax on some of the beautiful beaches in mid wales.
