Wow! What a wonderful place! We stayed here over New Year’s Eve, hiring both the main house and the coach house. If you’re looking for a cheap & cheerful getaway, this isn’t it. However, if you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay, with plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone, everything you’re likely to need and the most amazing entertainment space, then look no further! Andrea was a wonderful host. She greeted us on arrival and took the time to give us a tour. We were left in peace, but Andrea was extremely responsive . We couldn’t work out the heating and, after one message, they were there within 5 minutes to show us how it worked. I honestly can’t recommend this house enough.

Lots of space indoors and out - the kitchen(s) and bar were well equipped- and the hosts could not have been more helpful or friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

We held a family reunion for 15 people and 2 dogs. The weather was good and we spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor facilities (BBQ, fire pit, seating area, hot tub). The outside space is really good with plenty of room for the children and dogs to run around. There are 2 kitchens and we managed to find everything we needed between the kitchens. There was also a plentiful supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen herbs, toilet roll, etc. There are plenty of beds, but worth being aware that 3 rooms have 4 single beds in them. Also only one of the 5 bedrooms in the main house has a private bathroom. There is one other large bathroom for the other 4 rooms. Three room in the Annexe are en-suite, plus a separate large shower room. We also enjoyed the pool room/TV room in the Annexe. Had the weather been bad, this where you need to congregate as the lounge in the main house is not that big. Overall, we had a really good time at Coates and Andrea is a great host
