Cosy cosy cosy! We had a lovely November stay in this remote caravan. Jan and Rob were really accommodating, meeting us when we arrived to show us around. The caravan had everything we needed and was always a lovely and warm shelter from the wind. Would definitely recommend!

Jan and Rob were great hosts who really went the extra mile during our stay, even collecting some groceries and a pizza from the local pizzeria for me when we took ill and were unable to attend our table booking. They are both lovely people who are happy to chat about the animals, Sanday and farm life. The tin tent itself is surprisingly cosy. The weather was quite cold during our stay but we only briefly deemed it necessary to put the heating on, and the views from the windows are nothing short of stunning. Sanday is a beautiful island to visit, even in the windy and sometimes rainy conditions during our stay. Coming back to the cosy tin tent at the end of the day and being able to warm up in the hot tub really was a treat!

Awesome, highly recommended. Sand beach so close, watching sea lion was Amazon in the morning. Of course hot tub must be mentioned here, was great !

Great little stay, comfortable and really well located. Easy to find, good communication before visit. The only thing missing was written information, which is key for such particular rules and how to do things.

What a lovely couple - couldn’t have been more helpful. They booked my transport, arranged for hire of an e-bike and Rob was even kind enough to take me to pick it up and drop it off. The caravan ‘tin tent’ was cozy, really comfortable with hot water, BBQ (stocked with charcoal) and fire brazier … and breathtaking views to the sea. It even had it’s own little beach, and to top it all, a fantastic hot tub! If you’re an animal lover (like Jan and Rob), you’re next to a working farm where every cow and sheep has a name. Highly highly recommended
