The studio-house is awesome. Waking up everyday looking through huge glass sliding doors to the garden and having a breakfast at the terrace are gorgeous. The place is clean and surprisingly has no insects, even ants. Just don't forget to buy anti-mosquito spirals for the terrace. Lots of trees and birds next to the house. The place is just 5 minutes drive from a big supermarket with 24/7 pharmacy and a Claro office, and 15 minute drive to Cabarete. In the Ocean Village 3 minute walk from the house there is a air-conditioned gym with ocean view for just 2500 pesos per month. The house has all necessary amenities, but the Wifi is slow: only 0.8-1.5 Mbps down link. Despite it works surprisingly reliably for voice calls like Skype / whatsapp, if you are planning to work, be sure to buy a 4G Claro internet as a backup, you ll appreciate it a lot. Michael is an awesome host, friendly and responsive. The house offers excellent value for money, especially when rented for 28+ days.

La Casita is situated in the perfect location - only minutes away from the beach, with a jungle for the backyard. Jugs of potable water were provided. To get to the house, one needs to get through a bit of offroad, but we had no problems with our tiny sedan. We would definitely come back in a heartbeat!
