When you climb the staircase to the New Yorker you will be on your way to entering your own peaceful little corner of rest and relaxation. This small 1 BR has full bath w/ tub, fully stocked kitchen, small shared outdoor area w/ fire pit in the rear yard. Guests will love its understated charm! Park on the quiet tree lined street for free and walk three blocks and you will be in the center downtown Winchester. Apt 4 is on 2nd floor. NOTE: narrow staircase guests will to need to walk up. This is a small one bedroom with queen Casper mattress and living room with 45” HD flatscreen TV with Roku, small workspace, fully stocked kitchen witn hi-top table seating for 3 and full bath with tub. There is also shared little fire pit sitting area outside in the back of the single family house that has several apartments . Pros: Amazing hostess. Amazing. She was so responsive, and went above and beyond trying to rectify the issues we did bring her way (she loaned us a pack ‘n’ play to use for our 2-year old, and when we were locked out of the laundry room and unable to wash our clothes, she personally went to the landlord to pick up the key and bring it to us). Cons: Two of the main overhead lights were out. The TV remote stopped working, leaving us to use an app on my phone and then just use our PlayStation to stream with. We didn’t receive the laundry key for a while. The landlord told Michele it had been dropped off, but it wasn’t. And she didn’t know until I followed up a week later, which is what prompted her to just handle it herself. Lastly, there’s no pets allowed on the listing, but there were dogs in other apartments that barked quite a bit. We didn’t mind, but some people might.

I was traveling for work and wanted a place to stay close to my work place. I found this posting and contacted Michele. she is a wonderful host and she definitely puts her guests at top of her priorities. Smooth Check-In and Check-out. Everything was Amazing and made feel like Home!

My wife and I loved our stay at Michele's place. So close to all kinds of attractions, historical and otherwise, and wonderful restaurants. We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed 3 more. Loved the town of Winchester. We come to Virginia almost every year at this time for a family reunion and the weather this year was the best that I can ever remember for the third week of August. Thoroughly loved our stay. Thank you Michele!!

When you are a guest at The New Yorker you will be within walking distance from almost everything -
park your cars for free on the street and just relax and enjoy !
Walk to Dunkin Donuts down the street !
The Walking Mall just 3-4 blocks away boasts all sorts of shopping/ restaurants/ live music venues/ galleries and more.

Check out Glazed & Confused delicious donuts on Piccadilly
Bonnie Blue for some breakfast or lunch its a Southern Market and Bakery - so yummy !
