Lovely peaceful place, super well equipped kitchen and comfy bedrooms. Very peaceful surroundings and great find with the fire pit for making s’mores! Loved our stay

Was disappointed as the instructions to enter the property were incorrect. We were told to access the key via the safe however the safe was empty. We were left stranded outside in the cold & rain. We tried calling the emergency number (we were told the emergency number would provide us with an accessible mobile number to reach the host out of hours) however the number we called only allowed us to leave a message which would have been checked the next working day, which was 2 days away. Luckily we decided to continue looking around and ended up finding the key under a random log, if we hadn’t found it, we would have had to drive back. I was hugely disappointed as our trip began with a lot of stress. We should have been provided with the correct instructions to enter the property and we should have been able to access someone via the emergency number (it definitely was not for emergencies) The communication from finest retreats from start to end was so poor.
