The perfect escape from reality. Fox Lodge is beautiful, cosy and so peaceful. Every little detail has been thought of to make your stay stress free. Graham and his wife are lovely and were there to greet us on arrival with milk and a walk through of the lodge, hot tub, and recommendations on walks to take our dogs on. They also made a big fuss of our dogs, which is always bonus points in my mind 😊 thank you both for a wonderful weekend away. We have already recommended you to family.

Literally a special place to stay outside of the city. View is so good and everything in the room is as shown and even better than the pictures. Allison and Graham are very responsible and they welcomed us when we arrived, they are super friendly and supportive, they gave us very in-depth introduction of the place and we feel like spoiled! They had left snacks and a full selection of hot drinks which was a lovely touch. The log fire hot tub was fab. It was so peaceful and quiet.

We have just returned from an amazing 2 night stay at the lodges. The hosts were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable , they were so thoughtful with every detail. We was welcomed on arrival by Alison who showed us round the lodge and told us how to use the fires and equipment which was very helpful. Graham was on hand at every message for anything we needed at all they were both amazing at all times. The lodge it’s self was outstanding it was spotless from top to bottom and decorated so homely with everything you could need for your stay. The hot tub was 10/10 it was clean with all functions working and a great view of the canal. Everything is supplied on arrival from milk and eggs, board games, fans and all kitchen utensils. the hosts even went out of their way to help us by stopping off to grab us some extras on the way such lovely hosts. couldn’t recommend this place enough we will definitely be returning.

Graham was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the cabin itself was very cosy ,comfortable and extremely well equipped. Whilst being very helpful, Graham still gave us space for privacy and we never felt smothered, overall would recommend to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway.
