Just moments from Monte Sano park, and the beautiful Japanese Gardens. A short drive to Star Market for groceries. Very clean, and water is piping hot! This unit made me feel safe, and allowed me to rest. Thankful the host was able to provide me directions (lookout) and keypad# before my arrival, as I was concerned about losing cellphone signal. ATT carrier had zero issues up the mountain, nor inside the unit. Mid April stay, I made sure to have both warm and cool weather clothing. And used all of it! The furnace was a nice touch on the coldest evening. When I left, the wisteria and dogwoods were blooming beautifully. Thank you for offering this place on top of the mountain.

The stay was wonderful and Vanessa gave us everything we needed! The location is great if you like to bike the trails around the mountain and after you are done, the bed is very comfy to back and to relax in! Great stay!

Vanessa’s directions and descriptions were precise. We found our way around with ease and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The interior is well kept, cozy, well decorated and clean. We loved the short walk to the beautiful Monte Sano Park to watch the sunrise and sunset and enjoyed Huntsville’s great Restaurants, shops and attractions. The cottage is centrally located to have the best of both worlds! The comfort of the bed was noteworthy at the end of our busy day, as well as the peace and quiet to read a book and get ample rest. We are looking forward to visit again when we are in the area and hope to stay longer next time.

This place was great. I needed somewhere quiet and near to town and it fit the bill perfectly. Instructions to find the place and get inside were easy to follow and my host was proactive and made me feel right at home. The bed was extremely comfortable and that made for a good nights sleep!

Vanessa was very welcoming to my wife and I. We felt right at home and when we needed something she was right there. Thankful she allows pets so we can bring our fur child out to enjoy the mountain with us.
