Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful surroundings.
I had a wonderful time staying here. The view of the lake and nearby Mt Kearsarge was lovely. It was a treat to see the loons and wildlife. And the cottage is on a quiet dead-end road which made it perfect for walking. The cottage itself is quiet, very clean, and nicely furnished. The owners seemed to think of all the little details, such as kitchen appliances (even a toaster oven and blender), extra condiments and spices, citronella candles, and fun games for the whole family to enjoy. The wi-fi is fast and dependable as well. I especially enjoyed the deck with a nice assortment of chairs. In addition, Laurel was kind and quick to respond when I had a question. One small thing - no window screens meant the cottage was quite stuffy at night with no way to cool it down other than a small oscillating fan. (I did appreciate the bedroom AC.) Beyond that, this cottage was just about perfect! I enjoyed every minute of my stay. I wanted quiet and peace and that’s exactly what I found!
Can’t remember this place enough, it’s worth it for the views, the lake, and the kayaks are available , book it if your considering it
Laurel was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Although staying in a cabin on the lake, it still felt like home. Extremely clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again !
