Enjoyed the location for exploring downtown Salida, skiing at Monarch, and even sites like Royal Gorge and Great Sand Dunes NP within 1.5 hours. The place was well stocked, so it was easy to prepare our breakfasts and dinners, although there are a lot of great restaurants in Salida so don’t let the well-stocked kitchen keep you from getting out! (The only thing missing was a can opener, but I bought one and left it.) The place was just like the pictures, although the den felt even larger than I had imagined from the photos, perhaps because of the large windows with beautiful mountain views. I didn’t have any questions during the stay but when I reached out a few days prior, I received an immediate (and helpful) reply. Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home. Our host was very responsive to any message we sent and replied almost immediately. We were staying for a ski trip to monarch and were only a 20 min drive from the mountain , so ideal for us. The house had everything you could have wanted and was ready for all our requirements. We will definitely return.
