We loved our stay at Gema’s place. The apartment was adorable and comfortable. We were a few minutes walk from El Zonte beach, across the street from a coffee shop while still feeling peaceful and secluded. Gema was responsive and kind as well. We’d definitely stay again!

Many of our friends went to the local beachfront hostels. but if you want a private bungalow in El Zonte - i found one a few steps from the beach. i actually think it may be the only one right there! it was my sons first surf trip in central america and we had such an incredible experience with the locals/neighbors. it was walking distance to absolutely everything. We had some minor plumbing issues with the water being shut off in El Zonte on the last day when we were checking out.Gema was so communicative and proactive with anything and everything. thank you Gema. you are the most responsive host i have ever had thru air b and b. Definitely book this tiny home!
We were very comfortable here. The outdoor kitchen space is wonderful!
