Welcome to paradise! Playa Tortuga is a first floor, fully renovated condominium, located across the street from Babe’s Beach. Unobstructed beach view with a private, spacious balcony! From this balcony, guests can watch the sunrise and take in the beauty of being at the beach. Playa Tortuga was created with guests in mind, to create a comfortable space where each and every person feels welcome. Playa Tortuga is located on Seawall Blvd, directly across the street from Babe's Beach. This condo is approximately 1,000 sq. feet, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the spare bedroom has a queen bed. Additional sleeping: a queen size air mattress & Pack 'n Play. The only place inside Playa Tortuga to set-up the queen air mattress is the living room. Playa Tortuga has a spacious balcony with an unobstructed view of Babe’s Beach & ocean. The condo itself and balcony/patio are completely private. Amenities at the complex are shared with other guests: pool, hot tub, gym, tennis/pickle ball court, BBQ grilling area. INCLUDED in the rental, FREE for guests to use: beach chairs, sunblock, various beach toys, & several beach towels. Playa Tortuga is located in an ideal location, on Seawall Blvd, which is close to many restaurants and attractions. Please keep in mind, Seawall Blvd. is the busiest thoroughfare on Galveston Island; therefore, guests will hear vehicles pass by the complex. When crossing the street, please use caution and a crosswalk.

The little touches are what made the condo so perfect. It was very clean, a good location and so forth but the toothbrush and toothpaste, cotton balls, shampoo, plastic wrap in the kitchen, etc are just a few of the items they provided. The condo was spotless and comfortable. Jamie Lynn and Vince were quick to respond with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Jaime Lynn & Vince were wonderful hosts! Their condo is top notch & would definitely stay there again! So close to everything! They had essential items available which was outstanding if needed in case of an emergency! Everything was spectacular. Very thankful to stay at this condo! Exceeded all expectations!
This was our second stay with Jaime Lynn and Vince. This is by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The hosts have gone beyond to anticipate and provide everything that you might need. The beds are comfortable and the views are great. We love staying here and will return in the future.
Jamie and Vinces place is exactly as described. It is very clean and is a great location to the beach! We loved all of the charging cords they had placed around the bedroom and living room. We enjoyed all of the amenities this place has to offer from the pool, hot tub, coffee bar, etc. They have done a wonderful job making this place very welcoming.
Our stay in Galveston at Jaime Lynn and Vince’s place exceeded our expectations. The place was beautiful, clean, perfectly located and had every possible thing needed to totally enjoy yourself. We would love to visit again. I picked up many unique ideas to add to our own Airbnb when we get home. Thank you again for sharing your great place with us.

Playa Tortuga is located off Seawall Blvd, close to many restaurants and attractions.
Seawall Blvd. is the busiest thoroughfare on Galveston Island; therefore, guests will hear vehicles pass by the complex.
Playa Tortuga is a part of a condominium complex where light renovations might be ongoing; therefore, guests may see construction crews on property. Construction hours are 9am to 6pm.
Parking is unassigned, first come first serve.
No more than one vehicle per reservation (summer months, mid-May thru mid-August). During the non-summer months, no more than two vehicles per reservation.
There is a parking lot located at the back of the complex, off Stewart Rd, & a parking garage. Free parking for guests.
No large vehicles allowed. A large vehicle is one that cannot park comfortably into a regular sized parking space. No RV's, campers, UHAULs/moving vehicles, etc.
By completing this reservation, the guest agrees that Playa Tortuga, condo owners, complex staff, are not responsible or liable for any damages, break-ins, or missing items from you or your vehicle.
Please lock vehicle doors. Please be mindful of valuables, take them out of vehicles, not in plain sight.
Playa Tortuga is located on the first floor. Please keep in mind, the first floor does not mean ground level. If guests park out front, there are only six steps to the front door/patio. If guests park in the back lot or garage, there will be one flight of stairs from the ground to first floor. Elevators are located at the back of the complex. If there are elevator issues, Playa Tortuga will inform guests before arrival. If issues arise during a guest’s stay, Playa Tortuga will contact that guest in a timely manner.
