Boulders Beach Lookout is a light and spacious penthouse apartment with a wrap-around deck, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a stylish, open-plan living space. You will feel on top of the world as you experience magnificent ocean views from every room (even the bathroom!) and a relaxed ambience. And we are only 3 minutes' walk down the hill to Boulders Beach with its nearby penguin colony. Although there is a holiday home below the apartment, your space is completely private. The stylish Lookout apartment sleeps four people, but there is an extra bed in the loft area above the kitchen, suitable for a younger person. The apartment is also fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, gas hob and electric oven. And for those times when there is ''loadshedding" in South Africa and electricity gets cut off for two hours, we have an inverter which provides electricity, so power is generally on for 24 hours. Because of the staircases, the space is not suitable for young children.

Barbara's home was lovely and much nicer than described. The scenic was spectacula. The location was great as it is just 3 minutes walk to boulders' penguins colony. There were lots of penguins along the path. Barbara was attentive. The check in was smooth. I would come back again.
Fantastic little house - beautiful all round sea views and only minutes away from the penguins. Two bedrooms but there was also a little mezzanine bedroom that my son wanted to stay in above the kitchen. If we had known how nice it was we would have booked to stay for longer.

The best view possible! The place was huge, with everything needed. Views were unmatched. Loved having the huge deck to watch the penguins and whales from. Walkable distance to restaurants and beaches. Quick drive to cape of good hope. Highly recommend.
Barbara's apartment has a fantastic view with a great location and is well equipped! Just a few minutes and you are at the penguins beach!

Boulders Beach has one of the best-kept secrets in Cape Town. When the wind is pumping in the rest of the city, the beach is wind-free! The calm waters also offer a wonderful experience of swimming and floating with the penguins. While Boulders Beach is one of the main attractions in Simon's Town. the town itself is worthy of exploring. The town centre is a fifteen-minute walk from the house and there are many quaint shops and lovely restaurants to visit. From Boulders you can also drive to Noordhoek Beach, Cape Point, Silvermine Nature Reserve, Kalk Bay and FishHoek - all within 20 minutes of driving.
It is best to have your own car for getting around. Although you can walk to the beaches, you might want to go further afield to see the neighboring sights.
