Bruna proved to be an exceptional host. Meeting us in person, she provided invaluable insights into the area, including the lagoon and various activities available. The accommodation itself was great, featuring a charming enclosed courtyard and great upstairs little unit. Bruna's thoughtful touches, such as a handwritten note along with delicious mangos and nuts for snacks, added a personal touch to our stay. The AC ensured a comfortable environment, cooling the space quickly. Bruna facilitated connections with outstanding local services, from an exhilarating sailing tour on the lagoon to a skilled massage therapist, and remarkable dining recommendations—all of which exceeded our expectations. Despite ongoing construction near the highway, Bruna's provision of earplugs, coupled with the fan and AC, minimized any disturbance, allowing us to fully enjoy our time. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return, as Bacalar left an impression as an extraordinary destination.

Die Unterkunft bei Bruna war wunderschön. Brunda hat alles sehr liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Der Garten ist ebenfalls wunderbar für entspannende Morgen und Abende. Nicht weit von dem Appartement gitb es einen ruhigen Ort zum Baden am See. Das Appartement liegt ein wnig ausserhalb vom Zentrum, wodurch es shön ruhig ist. Ich habe die Zeit bei Bruna sehr genossen.

Bruna’s place is one of the best air bnbs we have visited!! It is beautifully designed and laid out, and Bruna left so many thoughtful details - we really appreciated the fruit and nuts after a long day of traveling. She greeted us personally when we arrived as they live next door and gave us a wonderful introduction to the lagoon and local ecosystem (including important things like you’re not able to wear sunscreen in the lagoon to protect it!) She had even left a hand written welcome letter and immediately sent me two local cultural events pages and personally connected us with some folks for a sailing tour and other activities. She was extremely responsive and gave us great recommendations for other places to visit. I really enjoyed talking with her and learning about their family’s work! The air bnb itself is so comfortable and we were grateful to relax there and let down. The front balcony is beautiful and we enjoyed having slow mornings out there. Can’t wait to go back!
