As soon as we enter the house , we already love the view of the lake. You will also recognize how clean and welcoming the house .. certainly there’s a personal touch for the visitor to feel at home .We enjoyed our three days , and would love to come back sometime soon to see the leaves change in the fall .

We absolutely loved every minute of our 3 night stay at RDC. The house is beautiful, with so many lovely touches, and we felt at home straight away. The view is incredible! We loved sitting in the window gazing at the lake and watching the bluebirds and woodpeckers in the trees. We would recommend RDC in a heartbeat. It's a very special place!

The Red Door Cottage is a blissful retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Located in Martin, GA with not much else around, it gives you the chance to relax, rest, enjoy nature, and enjoy time with your loved ones. The check in/check out process was very easy from start to finish. The RDC was very clean, had all the necessary linens (including plenty of blankets to snuggle up in), and even had a kitchen with all the cooking utensils you would need. Terri was very thoughtful about making us feel welcome - from leaving a movie night treat to having condiments in the fridge for us. The property is beautiful, especially at sunset. We had so much fun sitting on the docks with our two dogs, enjoying the weather and the peaceful water. There were plenty of water activities available (though it was too cold when we went to go swimming/kayaking). The RDC is dog friendly which is one of the main reasons we chose it, but it was even better than we expected. A great getaway!
