Had gated parking which made me feel at ease…. Bedroom was comfortable nice and quiet …would stay there again…

Joe is a great host and all around good dude. Any issues, which were minimal, were seen to quickly. He's a wealth of knowledge on local venues, as well as, a jack of all trades. Very down to earth and relatable. I'm a 40 yrs old female that travels alone, I felt safe at Joe's. The location can be a little startling at first bc there are a group of cop cars that park at the of the main side road you will use. Don't freak out, it's just that it's a walking/food stop for the student/youth in the area and the cops are basically for show. I stayed for 2 weeks and never saw so much as a loud screaming match ... nothing. LOOK at G maps so you know what the outside of the building looks like bc it can be hard to find if you don't. Enjoy your trip and definitely try out one of the local daquari shops. Safe Travels!!

This apartment has a total of 3 rooms and may have roommates. I didn't have any information about this before arriving, but I guessed from other people's reviews. The room has a separate small space for a closet. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer are also very convenient. Joseph was always kind and responsive! It has a large parking lot. Tiger trail (LSU bus) is accessible, although these routes only cover part of the school. There are convenience stores and burger shops within walking distance.
