A short walk from Gunwharf Quay, beach, historic dockyard, cathedral, & other historic sites. Large private double room with en-suite & extra large walk in shower, smart TV, wireless access, & coffee machine. Wide choice of restaurants cafes & pubs all within short walk as is vibrant Southsea. Use of owners courtyard garden. Parking can be arranged. Room sleeps up to 2 adults, has an ensuite with extra large walk in shower, easy chairs and desk. Coffee machine and smart TV make this a comfortable room for both business and pleasure visits to Portsmouth. The room is located on the ground floor. Breakfast is provided with this room.

Kathy was an excellent host, welcoming and very friendly. The bedroom was spacious, clean and modern. We had everything we needed for our stay and more. Breakfast was brilliant. I was running the GSR so Kathy asked if I had any specific foods I needed to eat before hand. My husband had a lovely full english. Would definitely stay again.

Great location 5 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays. Kathy is a wonderful host very accommodating. It was a lovely spacious clean room with amazing shower would be happy to recommend. With a few extra touches it felt like a home away from home. Also amazing breakfasts

Great location next to the working fishing harbour. Our house is within a few minutes walk of Spice Island, Gunwharf Quay shopping, the Cathedral, University, sea front and the historic Hotwalls. Also within a few minutes walk is the Historic Royal Navy Dockyards and vibrant Southsea seaside with bars, restaurants, shops and beaches.
With everything so close we walk everywhere to enjoy the surroundings!
We are minutes from the M27 and a few minutes walk from Portsmouth Harbour train and bus station. We are also 10 minutes walk from Portsmouth and Southsea train station and the Isle of Wight Ferry, Hovercraft and Seacat. Ferries to France, Spain and the Channel Islands are within 10 minutes drive. On road parking close to the property can be arranged.

We love to welcome guests to our harbour side home in old Portsmouth. We have lived in Portsmouth for some years and were attracted to the area by the rich nautical history, seaside location and great convenience with so many facilities on our doorstep. The home has been entirely refurbished and we have up to 2 double rooms that we let out on air BnB each with own en-suites We love cycling, history and spending time with family & friends. Kathy
