Our first time using AirBNB, we were unsure what to expect, but we were so happy with Karen’s place. Perfect location, quiet estate, off street parking, 5-10min walk to some great places to eat, and a few mins more to the centre of Wells. My wife is a nurse, so she has high standards for cleanliness, and she didn’t find a single thing she wasn’t happy with. The bed was super comfy, and an often overlooked provision of power sockets by the bedside meant I could plug all my gadgets in. The lounge is super comfy too, cosy lighting to relax after long days out. We stayed for 3 nights, eating out for two, but stayed in for one. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home, super modern appliances, plenty of equipment and crockery etc… I think we would struggle to find somewhere else that ticked as many boxes as this. If the event I was attending is on again next year, we’ll be rebooking to stay here again, no doubt… Wonderful stay.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, good location very quiet and a simple walk into town. Communication with Karen was easy and she was very helpful.

Wir haben ein ruhiges, gemütliches Haus in einer Wohngegend gesucht, nicht so weit vom Zentrum ( Geschäfte, Supermarkt usw.). All das bietet dieses Bungalow mit privatem Parkplatz vor der Haustür. Es war sehr sauber überall und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass man für 4 Personen alles zubereiten kann. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns einen kleinen Willkommensgruß bereit gestellt sowie Milch und Wasser. Sehr hilfreich waren die Gebrauchsanweisungen für alle Geräte, die in der Küche bereitlagen. Karen war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

We used Karen’s place as a base while we spent Christmas with my in-laws. We were so impressed with the accommodation; it has been really thoughtfully refurbished, it was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and the beds were very comfortable! The garden was nice and safe for our dog and there were recommendations for walks in the comprehensive welcome pack. Karen was a pleasure to deal with, made it super easy to check in and out and made us feel like she would be available if needed but completely left us to it if not. I walked into Wells for a bit of a mooch on Boxing Day, which took me approx. 15 mins to the beginning of the High Street and 20 to the cathedral. I had a lovely hot chocolate at Long Story Bistro - highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful stay in your lovely house Karen! We will be back if we need to stay in the area again 🌟
