Amazing house and property. Very modern design overall and spacious common areas, plenty for the 6 people that we had. Home is on a property with many sounds of farm animals (pigs, roosters, goats, cow, ducks, dog) and all kinds of birds around. There is a beautiful private lake within short walk that you can explore and fish and use row boat. Hosts Alex and Andrew are super friendly, having met them beforehand at check-in. They even left us some fresh eggs and goats milk to try. This is the perfect launching point in Mariposa for driving into Yosemite which is only about 70 minutes away to the Valley and only 10 minutes to downtown Mariposa. Can't wait to return again!
We had a wonderful stay here, and really enjoyed the projector for a quiet movie night after our long days at Yosemite. The restaurants and other activities in the area were easily accessible and enjoyable. The place was very cute and serene with the local wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area.
Clean, peaceful place that had everything we needed. It was so nice to be surrounded by nature and adorable farm animals. All the instructions we received were detailed, and we felt well-informed prior to our arrival. The amenities were great and we were close enough to Yosemite where we did most of our travel activities. Lovely stay!
Amazing! What a beautiful stay for the short time we were there. We arrived at night on day of arrival so we were not able to see surrounding area. As I woke up and headed to the living room and looked out the window and saw the gorgeous mountain range I knew how special this place was. Everything was beautiful. Comfortable with everything you need. All rooms are just how it’s pictured. Love that we stood on a working farm and were able to hear the roosters and dogs and go down and see the animals. It was great to experience that since we are city people. Location was great.. you’re 7 min into town. Cute spots to eat. Do your research. We loved for coffee Lily Mae’s Cinnamon Rolls. A must try.. Yosemite is an hour each way. You have two entrances. The entrance to go to Yosemite Valley and then the south entrance Mariposa Grove to see the sequoias, Grizzly Giant and the tunnel of love. Communication was great with Alex. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend this place.
