Comfortable space in a convenient DC/Alexandria location! All the little touches of plants and art in the apartment add an inviting homey atmosphere. The layout makes it feel spacious - I traveled solo, but had I brought my spouse with me the two of us would have had more than enough space. The large futon is loaded with pillows and warm blankets, and that comfortable bed was amazing! I chose to fly in (it's the first Metro stop south of Reagan) and walk/train everywhere. I never had any issues; short walk to the stop and short ride into the city. Sam has a great place! Will be back!

Sam's place was exactly what we needed for our stay visiting Alexandria as well as DC! Everything was local and just a short drive away! The place was super neat and spacious for my wife and I! We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area (Also meeting Sam's super sweet dogs was a bonus!!)

It is a great location and was very dog friendly for us. Located right near Potomac Shopping Center with easy access to DC. Parking was on the street and easy during the day and tighter at night. It is an old neighborhood with working-class homes . It was off-season for the garden that Sam keeps.

A fantastic place to crash when in the DC area. Easy access to downtown and the place has everything you need. Comfortable, clean, and with an excellent bed and shower. It is my go-to anytime I need to be in the area. Sam is also an excellent host. Highly recommend checking out this place!
