Embodies the best of what AirBnB can be. One of those above-and-beyond AirBnB's. Super clean, easy entry/departure, fast wifi, safe parking, plenty of good linens, and responsive host. Warm and surprising amount of natural light for basement lodging (enough for real houseplants). Hot water and super water pressure. I didn't explore the backyard but it looked very nice (just like the pics). Uber into the city/capital = ~$30, 35-45 minutes ride depending on time of day. I will stay here again! Don't look any further, this is the place.

Pernilla and Adam's in-law suite was located in a very convenient location. We were close to the attractions we wanted to visit which was the Great Falls, Manassas Battlefield and the Washington D.C. monuments. The suite itself was part of the main house, with it's own entrance. We felt extremely comfortable, safe and most importantly had our privacy with the set-up of the suite. The outdoor area was just lovely and serene. Pernilla responded immediately when asking for some local recommendations to eat dinner with our Goldendoodle. They were accommodating to our dog's needs as well as ours, just perfect! We highly recommend staying at their home when visiting the Virginia/D.C. area.

Amazing, quiet oasis to relax and chill in the middle of the city. The hosts have definitely though of everything one might need and will still ask if you need anything else. Phenomenal communication; attentive without being intrusive. This is our first Airbnb experience and future ones will have a lot to live up to. The back patio is the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and this place was great for us! It was perfectly located between all the places we had to be for wedding activities - so it made it super easy for us to grab an Uber and go. The only thing I didn’t really like is that we could sometimes hear the hosts walking/talking upstairs and it woke my husband and I up one more. But other than that this place was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pernilla and Adam’s Airbnb! They were so kind and responsive. They offered us firewood and blankets the one night and it was such a kind gesture. They are the kind of hosts that remind me why Airbnb can be such a fun/unique experience. The Airbnb was so nice and the backyard area was beautiful. Super dog friendly! We had the best weekend and would love to come back in the future!
