C's place was the perfect stay for ice fishing on Callander Bay. access to the ice was just across the road. The house was clean and Tidy. we had a wonderful time

As much as we wanted to enjoy our stay here, the house is extremely run down and needs a lot of maintenance. It was hard to find an outlet that worked. Check in was late and garbage was left in huge piles in the garage.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Callander close to the water and all needed amenities, this is the place. perfect for a small family or a few buddies looking to get out ice fishing. 2 bedrooms with beds and a daybed in the livingroom. Wifi was fast enough to stream shows on your phone or iPad (no TV in the cottage). You are literally steps away from a grocery store, good restaurants, gas and convenience stores.. as well as a short drive to grab minnows or any fishing gear you may need at "Billy Bobs". The cottage is directly across from the bay and there is a beach right there or easy access for walking out to fish the ice.
