It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy fun with family. The town hosted a Family Day skating event in Eagle Lake, so much fun!!!

Our family spent four nights at Jodi's cottage in December 2023/January 2024. We were very comfortable and had a fantastic time! One of the best parts of the cottage is that it is situated almost right at the shore line, offering incredible views from all the windows at the front of the cottage. We loved the beauty of the frozen lake and the scenic property, including a small stream on one side. The cottage itself was spotless, including a lovely renovated bathroom with laundry, a functional kitchen with all the dishes/utensils/kitchen items we needed, and comfortable bedrooms with nice mattresses. Jodi was a fantastic host and went out of her way to make our stay memorable and fun -- plenty of firewood for bonfires, tested the ice for us to go ice skating, etc. I would love to visit again in the summer and recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, comfortable cottage getaway. We enjoyed our stay a lot, it's a very beautiful and quiet place. The house is nice and cozy. Jodi was a very helpful and responsive host. We forgot to bring our bedding with us and he was able to come up with some thing to save our situation!

Lovely place to stay on the lake. Jodi was responsive and thoughtful and made sure our stay was pleasant. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at Jodi and Marks place. It was like a little slice of heaven. It was my birthday when we checked in and we were pleasantly surprised with a lovely gift and a card. The place was even more beautiful than the photos. I can’t describe the view from the deck, it was just mesmerizing with the amazing fall colours. The fairy lights and the fire pit made every night magical. The kitchen was fully equipped with all necessities and they had a great dvd collection. This was really important with 3 young kids. We really enjoyed fishing, kayaking and toasting marshmallows by the fire. We were very relieved to have the hosts next door in case of emergencies and still there was enough privacy between the two places that we really got to really enjoy private family time. They were both very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful gateway and we will be coming back for sure.
