Maria is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. Our family spent most of the time in the water front screen porch and the private dock with nice cool weather. Kitchen was well stocked. Wished we had low time to try their canoe, fishing or crabbing but our family really enjoyed our time unplugged (low wifi and cell reception) relaxing in peaceful private surroundings. Hughlett's Point beach about 10 minutes away is really nice, quiet, and private. Kilmarnock is a cute charming little town.

Our stay at Maria and Brad’s home was wonderful. Their house is a home filled with comfortable amenities and special touches. The towels are plush and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing everyday. We caught and steamed some crabs with the provided crab trap. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and wonderful appliances. The creek is so peaceful and close to the home. We stayed for 6 days and only experienced one rainy day and still enjoyed the outdoors by relaxing in the large screened in porch. My husband and sons had the privilege to join Brad one morning for trout fishing which were so tasty on the grill. Communication with Maria and Brad was quick and delightful.

Maria was so helpful and made my fiancé and her bridesmaids feel right at home. She was always a phone call or text away. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Right on the water. You can’t ask for a better getaway!! Would stay again!

Maria made everything so easy for us. She was quick to respond to questions and requests, described the location and access details perfectly. She even called to tell us that she had forgotten to give us permission to use her canoe, so she welcomed us to do so and we enjoyed that a lot! The home is well equipped (especially the kitchen and coffee bar) and stocked with good supply of paper goods, etc. It is a beautiful property with wonderful waterfront amenities as well as a fabulous screened porch that we really loved during our rather rainy week!

This was a great family vacation made memorable by a wonderful and caring host. It was great for us all to get together while taking a break from work and the stresses of everyday life. Serene and calm place on Division Creek, sheltered from cold winds. The fire pit was amazing for cosy evenings - and mornings! Several spaces within the large living room were ideal for our family to gather in small groups or all together. Breakfast at the screened-in porch, lunch outdoors, and dinner in the dining room - divine!
