Amazing stay! Beautiful location and responsive host.

My friend’s and I have been taking friends vacations for several years. The trickiest part has always been finding accommodations for 4 couples. This was the first time we didn’t have to fight over bedrooms!! The 3 queen bedrooms all had huge ocean view windows and the double bunk room was a great room as well. The hot tub was perfectly situated on the back patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. We drove into town several times for meals and entertainment but mostly chilled in the open living room kitchen space. I took the kayaks out on the ocean and would strongly recommend it! That being said, make sure you know what you’re doing and wear a life jacket. All in all I would highly recommend this float house!

We had a bit of an unfortunate stay here. When we arrived everything was great and as advertised. However, during our first night the pipes froze, so for the rest of the weekend we had no running water and had to walk to an apartment offsite to shower and use the washroom. While this was a huge inconvenience, the owners responded to our requests for water and supplies so we rolled with it. Our main frustration was a lack of communication, and what felt like a bare minimum of accommodation given the circumstances. If I was renting my place out for $1000 a night and the tenants had no running water, I'd bend over backwards to ensure those people are comfortable. I would pick up their dirty dishes each day and bring them back washed, I'd offer to do any laundry that needed to be done, etc. None of this really happened, we had to actively make basic requests. We did get our money back, and in normal circumstances this review would be very different, but this was the experience we had.

Visually stunning and exceeded expectations in decor, surroundings, & ambiance. Very comfortable living rooms & bedrooms. It was a wonderful few nights in a beautiful, private location. Would stay again.
