Peaceful, Secluded, Beautiful surroundings. We had the place to ourselves as the other apartments were not occupied. My wife took advantage of the endless pool feature along with the gym room while I was out working. the babbling brook along the side was in full flow, following the recent downpours. Toasty, toasty warm a big win in December. Shelia was only a phone call away, to switch the sauna on when we wanted it. Superb. Thank you.

This place is a unique gem: tucked away & peaceful, yet with so much to visit on one's doorstep (including some stunning beaches & the best coastal walk I've ever had in my life). We adored the continuous soundscape of babbling brook + birdsong, the balcony overlooking this, & the views from the bathtub! Best bath ever. Wildlife is abundant: we spotted moorhen chicks & massive dragonflies from the balcony. The decor & the art on every wall are stunning & make the place feel very homely. & I was not expecting the little touches - like local jams on arrival & homemade (perfume-free) soaps & shampoos. Then there is the luxurious pool, grass tennis court & beautiful gardens... I could go on all day. We would love to return...

This was a real find, a beautiful retreat from the hustle of everyday. It was in a great location, among a smattering of other homes/buildings. It felt like we were on our own - we didn't really see anyone else on site. The eco-home was extremely cosy and the upstairs bedroom area was light, airy and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the little burbling brook that runs alongside the house was gentle and rhythmic. There is a little balcony for warm, sunny days. We were very pleased to discover fresh eggs and a number of other treats as a welcome gift. Just let Sheila or Richard know before using the sauna, and sign up on the board outside. We used this and the pool everyday. The pool is 'heated', but it takes a few minutes to adjust to the temperature - however, it was wonderful swimming in amongst the 'jungle' and under a delicious scent of blooms. It's about a 40-minute walk to Dittisham. There's a tiny ferry boat that runs across the river Dart. A most romantic spot indeed!
