Beautifully converted stone barn giving spacious & comfortable holiday accommodation for 8 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. Free WIFI. Private garden & terrace. Rural setting 2kms from village shops and 5kms from lake with swimming beach. A converted barn with spacious open plan living area on the ground floor -modern fitted kitchen, dining table & chairs for 8 and comfortable lounge seating. On the first floor are 4 good sized bedrooms - 2 with kingsize double beds and 2 with twin single beds. Each bedroom has its own shower room with toilet and wash basin. Most guests choose to do their own end of rental cleaning but this service can be provided for a fee of 50€

Logement idéal pour se retrouver à plusieurs. Très appréciables les salles d'eau indépendantes à chaque chambre. A recommander.

Un très beau gite très propre, spacieux et bien agencé Nos hotes Gail et Chris sont particulierement acceuillants, disponibles et discrets. Un excellent séjour qui nous a permi de recevoir agréablement nos 2 enfants, leurs conjoints et nos 2 petits enfants. Nous reviendrons.
Très bon accueil de Gail et gîte pratique pour nos deux familles pour un court séjour. Les salles d’eau dans chaque chambre nous ont été très utiles et l’environnement dans la campagne du Limousin était très agréable!

Set in a tiny hamlet of just 4 homes, 2 kms from a small village with supermarket, fuel station, post office, bank, newsagent, baker, 2 cafe/ bars, pizzeria. 5 kms from leisure lake with swimming beach and snack bar open in the summer plus a bar/restuarant. Other beautiful lakes within a 20 minute drive.
Car essential. Free parking on site. 45 mins from Limoges airport with flight links to UK.

Married to Chris, we moved from England to the peaceful, rural Haute Vienne department of the Limousin region of France in January 2009. We run a small guest house and holiday rental gite. Gail enjoys cooking and entertaining so running a small guest house is just an ideal way of life. There's nothing better than having guests comment that "staying at L'Hirondelle was like visiting friends".
