Lovely little find, beautiful place to stay....right on the lake with a cosy feel. Tidy & mostly clean. A few minor things that wasn't done before arrival but nothing that couldn't be sorted. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Antonia was very accommodating and replied to questions quickly. Thanks again for our stay. Charlotte & Rich

Antonia was a great host, the house is beautiful and exactly as listed. She was very responsive and made great recommendations. At the price it’s listed this stands head and shoulders above other options we could find in the area.

All in all a nice place for a break away. The surrounding area was beautiful and full of wildlife. Particularly nice that there was a working farm. Lots of potential walks around if time permits. Shaftesbury is a great town and we went to 2 great restaurants La Fluer de Lys and Sant Tonino. Well worth a visit. Antonia the host was helpful and gave us a few pointers for things to do. Thanks from us all

We had a lovely stay at the boat house, was super spacious which I think you don't get from the photo's and felt warm and homely. We really liked being a bit out of the way and not having phone or wifi and relaxing in the evening looking out over the ponds and telling our dog not to get annoyed at the swans swimming in front of the bifold doors that look onto them. Had everything we needed so had a great few nights.

A fantastic retreat. Far from the main roads with a gorgeous sitting room looking out over the pond. Spacious and quiet. A perfect two day stop.
