Although neat and tidy, unfortunatly our stay was pretty disappointing. What they call the loft is really just a very low ceiling space that has been converted to a bedroom. Im only 5ft tall and could not stand up out of bed without hitting my head on the ceiling. The bedroom space is as hot as hell and the movement of the floor is quite concerning. Therfore we found it neccesary to sleep separatly on the downstairs sofa and single bed in order to get some kind of sleep, which was not not ideal. The lack of space in the bathroom impeded on its functionallity and the shower water fluctuates from boiling hot to cold. Which could be hazardous for any children staying. Over all we found the space is not a cottage but a converted garage that we found to be not comfortable.

Location was fantastic, close to 2 beautiful beaches and coastal walks was a big plus! Being out of range wasn’t an issue as the internet was extremely reliable. Loved the big yard, we didn’t have pets but the yard and location would be a dream holiday for fur babies. The clean before we came in was clearly quite rushed, understanding it was the busiest time of the year this can happen so didn’t let it spoil our stay. The home was very quiet and very peaceful even over new year. My only real draw back with the property is the ceilings in the main bedroom; my husband and I are both tall and having to duck when getting in and out of bed wasn’t ideal otherwise would gladly stay here again as we loved the rustic beach feel of the property.

We booked aftertaste 7pm and were able to get in thanks to the fantastic host who responded straight away. The place has everything you need and is close to nice beaches.

Unfortunately we did not have the stay we were after (a relaxing, reality free weekend). The shower did not work almost at all and the bedroom was horrible. Wouldn’t recommend for the price at all. Definitely not as glamorous as the photos. Unfortunately we felt as if we were staying in a jazzed up shed. Also no reception.
