Lovely place out of the way of hustle and bustle. Food we ordered for evening was so good, as was breakfast.

Such a welcoming and friendly place to stay. Howard and Liz are fabulous hosts . The food in the pub was delicious as was the breakfast...very generous portions too 🙂. The room was very comfortable and had delicious homemade biscuits. Hannah was also so kind enough to give us a lift to a wedding nearby! Highly recommend!

what a fabulous old pub!! A perfect 2 day stay where we enjoyed the beautiful village of Dalwood and surrounds. We ate both evenings at the Pub, meals were exceptional and we would have liked to stay longer to work our way through the menu! We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar with some of the locals, played skittles with our Australian friends and generally had a fabulous time and the rooms are cosy and comfortable. Thankyou Howard, Hannah and David - we loved our stay and your hospitality.

Had some work to do in the area and Howard's place was perfect, very friendly welcome. The food in the pub was fantastic. Sat by the fire in the evening having a great chat with Howard. I would certainly recommend staying here.
