Lovely couple of days at Tom and Leah’s place. They were there to welcome us with some goodies, fresh bread, eggs, coffee, cheese, butter etc all sourced locally. Very friendly. Communication was very good, they even let us know when places were open to visit. The cottage was lovely, it is a mid terrace but no issues with noise at all. Lovely views. The cottage is decorated beautifully, fabulously colourful. Well stocked kitchen, with everything you need. Comfortable beds. It is in a great location, lots to do just a short drive away. We visited Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Holmfirth winery and the National Mining Museum, all worth a visit. Lots of good places to eat in Holmfirth, just 15 min drive away. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tom & Leah’s cottage. We found it spotlessly clean! The cottage was recently updated, and had modern appliances. It’s a beautiful home, we loved it!!

Lovely quaint cottage if a bit cold. By final night we found thermostat in a drawer upstairs! House was clean but cleaner hadn’t dusted properly & outside dustbins were already half full- not owners fault. Beds were comfortable & crisp white fresh & clean just what you want. Flowing hot water all over the house even for 6 adults we were never without hot water. The shower heads were either overhead ones or smaller more static ones so water inevitably didn’t get where u wanted in an already tight space we therefore ended up using main one between us 6. Pros: beds were comfy & crisp, owners very nice- prompt and responsive, quality decor, hot flowing water, locals lovely and location nice, peaceful settings, amenities all there. Cons: small tweaks which will help you. Mainly sack your cleaner. House was tidy but needed a good dust. Garden needed manicuring.
