Great location. Beautiful property. The hot tub at night gazing at the stars was awesome. However the sulfur smell from the well water was absolutely horrible! Worst well water smell I've ever encountered. I wouldn't stay here again unless that was remedied.

My fiance and I really enjoyed our private retreat here however we did have a problem with the water. The well water expected to stink however, the water smell was comparable to some of the sewer systems I work in at my day to day job. The sulfur smell was extremely pungent but we got through it. Other than that it was enjoyable and we would most likely return if the smell was fixed or lessened.

The cabin was spotless and adorable. The land was absolutely beautiful. The drive to Hocking Hills was not too far, and the hot tub after a full day of hiking was perfect! The dogs had just as good a time. Only downside was the smell of the water. After doing dishes or a shower the place smells like rotten eggs for a while. So pack lots of water for drinking and cooking. We were able to get cell reception in front of the cabin. Enough for text and phone calls, but nothing else. So bring a map. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, remote getaway in a picture perfect setting.
