桑德波因特(Sandpoint) · 露营地 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住6人 · Fabulous full-service RV site on Lake Pend Oreille
RVers with any size, self-contained RV enjoy a vacation rental experience rather than a crowded park at this private, quiet site with full hookups, a fire pit and outdoor hot tub on a 10-plus acre waterfront estate on Lake Pend Oreille just minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. RVers enjoy stunning lake views and easy access to a public boat dock and a private beach. An adjacent bell tent offers a chance for group camping. The site has 50 amp service, well water, septic and more! Bring your RV of any type (as long as it has its own bathroom) or size, as this site will accommodate up to a motor coach with tip-outs and 50 amp service. The RV site's location is a private spot overlooking Lake Pend Oreille and just a couple minutes walk away from the water. Hookups are on-site with a frost-free hydrant serving up tasty well water! A beautiful outdoor hot tub under the stars seats five with a lounge. The site has its own fire pit, and camp wood is provided. We have accommodations for horses too. The property includes a house and two bell tents that allows for the possibility of group retreats. Hawkins Point is the farthest point on the Sunnyside Peninsula, named for the fact that it faces south; it's a gateway to the northern end of the lake and the Pack River Delta. The property has been in the same family since 1944 at a prominent geographic feature on Lake Pend Oreille, Hawkins Point. A public boat dock is right across the road, and the private shoreline is just west of the Hawkins Point public boat dock. Please note, it is necessary to back into the site. The surrounding meadow has plenty of room to turn around once you climb the short hill from the county road.
Very clean, great communication and very knowledgeable of the area. The location is on a hill, you’ll have beautiful views of the lake. Parking is super easy with good access.
Billie Jean has added thoughtful touches to the RV spot and made this the perfect Summer getaway. Fire pit, wood, and meticulous grounds are a delight.
Amazing views, very quite, Billie Jean was the bet host, meeting us when we arrived, showing us around and checking in on us to see how everything was going.
A fairly quiet spot to camp separated from the lake by a dirt road. Guests can use the beach area but not the amenities down there including the outdoor shower, sink, etc. I felt the listing was a little misleading in that regard. The property includes two permanent tents and other RV sites so you’re likely to have a neighbor. Pretty views all around.
Sunnyside is a desirable neighborhood close to Sandpoint, Idaho, where folks enjoy living out in the country on or near the lake. It's also a popular recreation area with public access at the Oden Wildlife Management Area, Sunnyside Access, Hawkins Point and shoreline managed by Idaho Fish and Game. The area includes longtime residents and more recent transplants to the area, as well as seasonal residents. Sunnyside is teeming with wildlife, from waterfowl to big game, while Lake Pend Oreille is home to many species of fish, including rainbow trout, kokanee, bass, whitefish, perch, bull trout and more. The lake has a thriving fishery and with 111 miles of shoreline, much of it public, there's a lot to explore by boat, canoe or kayak, or by hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. Sunnyside is between Sandpoint and Hope, Idaho, and either town may be accessed by boat or car for dining, shopping, concerts and other events.
Sandpoint and the surrounding towns of Dover, Kootenai and Ponderay, as well as the Schweitzer shuttle parking lot in ski season, have a free SPOT bus. Amtrak makes its only stop in Idaho at the Sandpoint depot daily. Rental cars are available in Sandpoint or at the Spokane international Airport. Sandpoint Airport has a 6,000-foot paved runway. For our guests arriving by private plane in Sandpoint, we can possibly make arrangements for a loaner car. The Sunnyside property is about 15 minutes from the town of Ponderay, where you'll find Walmart, Bonner Mall and many other shops. It's another two miles to downtown Sandpoint, or about a 20-minute drive via Highway 200.
