We spent a very comfortable six weeks at this cottage. We were very thankful for the A/C because it was unusually hot for a few weeks. Once it cooled off we really enjoyed the propane fire pit on the deck at night. The screened in gazebo was awesome because we could sit outside in all weather and take in the lovely view of Foxley River. We were pleasantly surprised that the mosquitoes were not at bothersome as expected because the hosts have gone to some lengths to mitigate the problem. The beds and linens were comfortable, as was all of the furniture. We got very attached to the awesome refrigerator. If you like to have a secluded, private and peaceful cottage this will suite you very much. It's at least 25 kms to the nearest store of any kind so you will want to plan your shopping and dining out accordingly.

Beautiful grounds. Everything you needed was in the house… very well stocked. Extremely nice sheets and towels. Comfortable bed. Only complaint is mosquitoes!!!!

Susan's cottage in Foxley River is a little private oasis that we discovered PEI from. The place was immaculate with very comfortable beds and plenty of storage in the rooms and the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you could need (even an ice cream maker) and we made good use of all of it. The cottage is modern with a nice AC system and great appliances. We enjoyed the beach, the kayaks and the BBQ quite a lot. The attractions nearby were a lot of fun for the kids, including the potato museum, west point lighthouse, Summerside and Malpeque. Come prepared for mosquitos however, they can be overwhelming without bug spray.

The cottage was very nice and up to date and modern. The beds were very comfy and high quality linens throughout. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you will need. Just bring food. The view was amazing, beautiful sunrises. I would suggest water shoes and bug spray as a must.
