Kate is a great hostess, always responded soon. Very accommodating - especially on Solar Eclipse Day, by allowing additional friends to enjoy the nice lawn, etc. The cottage was nice, clean, and tidy.

Kate's home is private and modern inside with timeless, peaceful beauty in the views all around the exterior of the house. The hot tub is in a charming back deck that is so easily accessible and feels very private from view. All the windows showcase the outdoor splendor. The beds are comfy and there was plenty of room for our family of six! Walking trails at Mohican State Park, visiting Malabar Farm, and checking out the view at Mt Jeez were memorable experiences and all doable in a day for free! We loved the landscape of this area with all the rolling hills. We had a delightful stay!

Kate's place was everything we hoped for and even exceeded the photos. The house was clean and comfortable and laid out in a way that makes for a cozy gathering space with a nice a communal kitchen, dining area and living room. Beds were cozy and plenty of extra blankets to keep you warm and snug. There are game for both kids and adults on hand and nice area to curl up and watch tv. The hot tub was great, very relaxing after a hike or to just chill out on a frosty evening. The surrounding area is beautiful, rolling hills with meadows and farmland and a perfect front porch to catch the setting sun. About 15 mins to Mohican State Park made for easy day trips. Also a 3 minute drive into the town of Butler which has restaurants and a small grocery store to stock up on rations. Kate was very communicative and responsive to any questions that popped up. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids, Kate's place accommodated us comfortably. All in all a great stay and place to escape to!
