Nestled in the trees, very private, remodeled one bedroom apartment. Full kitchen, full bath, two decks, oversized bedroom has king bed and walk-in closet and built-in office work area. Abundant peace, quiet and nature, with little to no traffic. Shared use of rarely used pool. Vestibule seperates apt. from main house for extra privacy. Private entrance with abundant parking. Shared washer and dryer on property. Located ten minutes to the Athens loop, an hour to the Atlanta perimeter.

Simone’s place is lovely. Beautiful screened-in porch and gorgeous view of the woods. Feels very private even though the owners live in a connected house. They go out of their way to be respectful of guests’ privacy. The kitchen is small but very workable and all the appliances work great. We enjoyed a dozen fresh eggs—and the tap water is especially good-tasting. Highly recommend!
Simone is a very kind and communicative host. Everything was clean and tidy. My only complaint was when another tenant moved in upstairs. Everything was extremely peaceful until the other tenant moved in. I could hear every single step she and her dog made. The noise was only disturbing at night. Simone tried to alleviate the noise by adding carpets but it’s just the nature of having an upstairs guest. Other than that, everything was great.
We had a great stay!- it felt remote and private despite being a shared property, and was an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Athens. Simone was very helpful and kind!
The place was not bad. Just had a very strong smell like a musty smell. The TV remote was confusing, there were 3, the one that worked was chewed by a dog. No bed frame for the king bed was strange too. Like sleeping on the floor. For the price i would have expected more. The location was great, in the woods and very secluded. Loved the chickens!
Great place to stay for peace and quiet. Hard to find initially (we arrived late so it was very dark). Happy that we could bring our 2 small dogs with us (they enjoyed their stay also). Loved the screened in porch and watching the chickens in the mornings. BONUS: Fresh eggs were left at our entrance. Nice owners and they have a super sweet small dog. Would recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

The very rural setting among the trees makes you feel like you're miles away from everyone. At the apartment, it's quiet except for the chickens announcing a new egg. and the occasional dog barking.
You have a small fenced-in yard for your pups or you can let them roam in the big backyard, which is fenced also. They will have to be social as there is our small girl doggie there too.
The neighborhood is private and very laid back. There are lots of trees and you can only see very few houses. It's an end-of-road community so no go-through traffic, as a matter of fact, hardly any traffic.
