This place is beautiful, there is plenty of space for everyone!! Just be prepared if you need Wi-Fi you need to have your own, but honestly we didn't miss it!!

This place had such a beautiful backyard and we very much enjoyed the lakefront view! It was also such a pleasant surprise seeing the place be stocked up with so many things like appliances, utensils, spices, board games/puzzles, etc. Unfortunately, the check-in process wasn’t very smooth since the instructions were a little vague and they gave us the wrong code. However, we were still able to communicate with the host/support team who responded pretty quickly whenever I had questions. Even though there were technically multiple showers, there was really only one usable shower for the 10 of us to use (the rest were either outside or one was a bathtub with a shower head that wasn’t hung up). The bathrooms were also a little challenging in that some were originally not meant for bathrooms. For example, one of the bathrooms seemed to used to be a closet so the floor was carpeted - which isn’t ideal when you’re spilling water onto the carpet when brushing your teeth/washing your face over a small sink. Regardless, my group and I still had a overall pleasant experience at this place and the lakefront is truly so special and beautiful! We got to take advantage of the kayaks/canoe and the campfire pit which were definitely highlights of our time here!

DO NOT book with Vacasa properties. We had issues the moment we arrived at our Airbnb. There was no lockbox or key to be found and as we reached out to the host all they could tell us was to wait patiently as they will reach out to their “local team” I waited two hours in the dark with my two infants and could not wait any longer. I looked for open doors and windows and found one screen door that was unlocked. I entered the property that way. As we settled into the home we found rat feces in the kitchen and all over their cookware items. Pictures were sent to Vacasa and again all they said was they will reach out to their local team. I went out of my way to call Vacasa and was transferred to a supervisor named Michael. He assured me that the local operation manager Norm, will reach out to me first thing in the morning to rectify the situation. I received no calls and called the following afternoon. During our stay we realized there was no heating system to be found in the home and needed assistance. Again, no answers. No one knew anything about the property we were staying at. I called again and was then transferred to another supervisor that said she will reach out to Norm. I received no calls. I called again and spoke to another representative Jeff. G. He said that they would send out cleaners so while we are out and that local cleaners will call us. Again no calls. No cleaners. I went out of my way to buy a rat trap. The following morning two rats were caught. I sent pictures and reached out again. I was connected to Cedric S. After looking at our tickets, he said that he would reach out and call me back. Cedric S. Decides to call us at 11:50pm. Hoping that we will not answer. He offered us a small discount on our stay and said there is nothing else he will do. He began to become aggravated and raised his voice at me as I continued to complain that this was an unacceptable stay. Cedric S. Began to speak faster and continued to tell me that I will not get a refund. He then decides to HANG UP on me. Vacasa did not offer us another place to go, continued to drag the situation each day by saying that they will send someone to clean, or have the local manager call us to rectify the issue. No action was taken by Vacasa. Overall, there was basically no management of this property. Vacasa continued to give us false promises that they will resolve the issues were facing. No alternative options were given, they continued to drag the situation and tried to resolve it with a small discount. Air bnb was also contacted but they could not get us a full refund and continued to say they are limited to what they can do for us. DO NOT book with this property it is filthy, unclean, and disgusting. DO NOT book with any other Vacasa properties, they will not help you if you run into a problem. They are extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and conniving.

Beautiful location! The outdoor area on the pond and sunsets from the dock were fabulous. We made good use of the kayaks, canoe and hammock! The house, especially the kitchen, was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need. Our group of 9 people was very comfortable and we would love to visit again.
