Tim’s place was great! The house is set up perfectly to accommodate larger groups complete with everything you need to enjoy a few days in a home away from home. Everyone in the group was very happy with what we got!

Great spot for friends and family. Still enjoyed the location even in the winter. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the national parks

if you want a quiet getaway with beautiful nature, this is the place to go. 8 of us stayed here for a friend's vacation. Sometimes I feel like we didn't even have to leave the bnb since Tim provides us with so much to do from books, games, Xbox 360 console, game room, and the best part was the dock with kayaks that we enjoyed couple of the mornings. Usually, you would have to pay to kayake on a lake with mountain views, but this is a benefit included in your rental cost. We also enjoyed a fire with the free wood he provides. Walmart is about a 20-minute drive. All you have to do is stock up on food, and you're good to stay put if you want a secluded lake vacation. Tim is VERY quick to reply, and even let us know when the cleaning crew was done so we could check-in early if desired. Tim himself is a 10 rating if I could. he is beyond a 5 star! it is about a 45 minute drive to the heart of Bar Harbor for the shopping, but ellsworth also has their nice little shopping area that's close.

The house was absolutely beautiful! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Everthing you could possibly need was readily available. From cooking needs, toiletries, games, high chair, kids toys, fire wood, etc. We had a group of 5 adults and 2 children and probably only used about half of the house. The garage was also nice to have to play cornhole, pool, and cards. We definitely enjoyed our time and didnt want to leave!
