The property is located within the old city walls area and next to Friar Street,which is lined with old historic tudor buildings,cobbled traffic free streets,little nooks and crannies with courtyards (very nostialgic),traditional pubs and restaurants,as well as many unique small businesses. Has a relaxed friendly vibe.
Worcester Cathedral is very close and can be seen from the guest's room window. A short walk up from Friar street is the main high street which runs through the whole of central Worcester. What I like about this location is that everything is a short enjoyable stroll away,and it's very safe.
A Tescos mni store is very close by. The large Asda supermarket is 7 mins walk along City Walls road,with cafe inside and still right in the center of town,easily walkable. You don't need a car inside Worcester!
There's a Wetherspoons nearby too,the Crown,near to the bus station, which has a nice vibe. And ANOTHER Wetherspoons next to Foregate Street rail station,further along the High St. Plenty of live music in the evenings especially at the weekends.
Beneath the east side of the building runs the A38, or City Walls road,which although busy with traffic is not too loud due to soundproofing I put on the property's east facing windows.
Also the Airbnb guests room is situated on the West side of the building and away from traffic noise. But you do have the Cathedral bells nearby,ringing in the morning.! A pleasant relaxing sound though.

Walking is the best way to get around by far,as everything is so accessible by foot. The nearby bus station has many services further afield and of course taxis are easy to hire,but unneccasary in this location.Everything you need (most likely) is close by. Very pedestrian friendly in central Worcester.
