If you're in Sydney for business or holiday, Millers Pointe is the place to stay. The area is close to everything, accessible to public transportation including a direct train to the airport. Walking distance are some great restaurants, and a nice stroll south to Darling Harbour, and some lovely neighborhoods to the south. North is the Rocks, to the east is the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, botanical garden and the public library. The beaches are a quick taxi trip or public transportation. Christopher's flat is a great space with every amenity you would need for a short otr long term stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, coffee maker/ coffee pods, spices for cooking, and laundry machine. Everything you need is close by and If you are unsure where they are, Christopher will respond to messages with detailed advice. The bathroom is spacious, and the bed and linens all very comfortable. The balcony is one of the best features of this space, perfect for sundowners looking out to the Western suburbs and the Anzac Bridge. There is a construction site across the street, but that is temporary, and if you're out and about during the day you won't notice. Weekday mornings may mean you can't sleep in, but it was not a big problem. There is also a nice selection of books if you want some No Screen Time. Christopher is a great host; always a quick response, thorough and caring, and informed. He met me at the apartment, walked me through the whole place, and provided information about New Years Eve ( was there that week) and where to get groceries, wine, etc. He treats you like family and is an enthusiastic ambassador for Sydney.

First, Chris is the consummate host — gracious, caring, and thoughtful. He met us with flowers and provided important information to navigate his apartment (which was not itself challenging). We found his friendliness and generosity (with his time) quite reassuring, especially for two Airbnb novices like us. Second, his apartment was wonderful, with an immense balcony that overlooks the harbour. We loved watching the ships and ferries motor by, not to mention the stunning sunsets almost every evening. The apartment also includes a full-amenities kitchen, large living area (with desk, big-screen television, Apple TV, etc.), and reasonably sized bedroom (itself with Apple TV and large-screen television). We especially enjoyed the king-size bed, with separate thermostat (for those of us who may like to sleep at a different temperature during the night than we experience during the day). The bathroom was huge, with a lush and spacious shower along with tub and sink — all quite modern and stylish. Third, and perhaps saving the best for last, is the location of Chris’s apartment. It is, without doubt, in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District (or CBD, as it’s called). In some cities (NY, Chicago), the notion of “business district” might signal a bit of caution, but this is not the case in Sydney. It is, instead, the center of all that matters, including all the shops, restaurants, harbor locations, tourist sites, ferries, trains, light rail, buses, and parks. In terms of the more famous places, his apartment is within easy walking distance of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, China Town, Sydney Tower, grocery stores, Hyde Park, Circular Quay, Sydney Observatory, and much more. We walked virtually every day and always felt safe. It’s probably obvious at this point that we loved all aspects of our experience — the host, the apartment, and its location. We stayed a full four weeks, so these are not merely first impressions, just a sincere appreciation for our adventure with Chris and his property.

Outstanding! Simply the best AirBnB experience I have ever made. Everything was just perfect! The apartment exceeded my expectations and I am rather a "demanding" traveller! This is the cleanest, most stylish and elegant and best equipped apartment I have ever seen in Australia! Even my friends down under do not have such a standard! I do not want to sound arrogant but even the solid construction of the building and the apartment meets German standards what is not usual in Australia. My German friend is architect and she could write a book about that. The location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of everything - I mean CBD. Most points of interest are in easy walking distance: Opera House 15 min, Walsh Bay 10 min, The Rocks 10 min, QVB 15 min, China Town 20 min, Barangaroo 3 min! Barangaroo has surprisingly developed over the last 12 months. It's really cool to stroll along the water to Darling Harbour. In particular in the evening. Huge amount of stylish bars and restaurants. OK, lots of tourists! But I myself are also a tourist! So no reason to blame! The building itself is very luxurious and upscale with a concierge sitting at the front desk. I felt like entering a top-notch apartment building at the Upper East Side in NYC! The car stacker in the car park which "staples" the cars automatically was impressive! To make a long story short: It felt as if one of my best friends handed over the keys of his own apartment to me for a couple of days. No feeling of a "holiday rental", but a real life flat! And, last but not least, Chris is the nicest and most caring host you can imagine! 6 stars overall rating!

The apartment is in an excellent location to explore Sydney and the surrounding areas. Quick walk to train stations, taxi rank and bus stops. The apartment was spotless and very nicely decorated. The large balcony was a definite highlight! Excellent views and a great place to catch a Sydney sunset. Chris was a great host! Excellent communication and flexibility. He had someone there to greet me when I arrived, which was a great touch. Also, he was able to accommodate a late check out since I had a late flight. If you want to enjoy all Sydney has to offer, this is the place to stay!
