Had a wonderful week at Josephine's place as a family of 4 along with grandparents. The cottage was as described and we found it very comfortable and cozy. Josephine was a very responsive host. Pros: lakefront on a very quiet lake, lake was great for SUP and kayaking, paddleboat was availablefor guests to use, large enough yard for games like washer toss, situated on a quiet road that was good for walking/running, nearby convenience store for basic foods and firewood, well equipped kitchen, on demand hot water, filtered drinking water, very comfortable beds, adequate seating and space for 6 people to stay, high speed internet Cons: the lake is very shallow and weedy so swimming was only possible if you get towed out into the middle past all the lily pads, the upstairs bedroom with the 2 single beds doesn't have any room darkening shades like the other bedrooms, very spotty cellular service in the area but wifi was great so we were able to make calls using wifi

the place was not very clean, we had to wash the dishes before using them, there was hair in the shower, dust on the window frame and spider webs in bedroom walls. The dock was broken and inaccessible to the water and some deck boards were broken. Someone could get hurt.

A little slice of peace in a beautiful and quiet location! This stay was a great getaway and it was comfortable from the A/C to the bedding! I’d recommend for any weekend/time away for a quiet and peaceful time!
