Lares · 自然旅社里的独立房间 · 1室0床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Rustic & Historic Room #1 | Hacienda Lealtad
Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. Transport yourself to the year 1830, the golden age for the coffee industry in Puerto Rico, in this restored historical Hacienda. Small historical room where, in addition to transporting you to another era, you connect with the nature and disconnect from everyday life. Where you can only hear the birds, the river and the country breeze. Our peacocks and ducks sometimes help this harmony full of peace. This restored room from the 1830s also has its original furniture from the time, so in addition to being a historical room, its furniture is an original antique piece. For this reason, we ask to all our guests to value these antique pieces and be careful and take care of them. Room Name: 'Centro Bravo' This room located on the second floor of the building originally the Slave's Barracks. You have to go up a few steps to get to the room. The room has a full bed, bathroom with shower, wardrobe, mini fridge and balcony overlooking the river. In addition to the nature that surrounds our large and beautiful Hacienda, it is also accompanied by peacocks and ducks. Brief History of Hacienda Lealtad: Hacienda Lealtad is a historic coffee plantation in barrio La Torre, Lares, Puerto Rico. A large hacienda, it was founded in 1830, by Juan Bautista Plumey, a French immigrant, who arrived in Puerto Rico with enslaved people. It would become the largest coffee plantation in Lares, with over thirty slaves and hundreds of day laborers working the coffee farm. For many years the plantation was a large producer and exporter of coffee. After the restoration the Hacienda operate as a hotel, coffee shop and a living museum recreating the historical setting of the height of coffee production in Puerto Rico. Coffee growing in Puerto Rico has seen a resurgence and Hacienda Lealtad produces coffee under the brand Café Lealtad. The Café Bistro Hacienda Lealtad on Puerto Rico Highway 128 kilometer 55.8, is where groups meet for the start of their tour of the 19th century coffee plantation. And the rest of the story will be told and more antiques to see in your stay with us.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The Staff was very friendly and the place is simply... BEAUTIFUL! It was a very peaceful and tranquil stay.
This coffee plantation is fantastic! We visited on a weekday and had reserved two rooms, both were in very new condition. Our first room had a problem with water and they moved us immediately to another room, which was perfect. Note that there are no refrigerators in most rooms, and there is almost no food options nearby later at night. Will come back again!
Place is beautiful, room cozy. Edwin the owner of the Hacienda is the nicest guy. Really do recommend this place. Just be aware that the room does not have wifi, although you do get wifi in common areas so plan accordingly. Relaxing, beautiful and worth the stay. I you can plan and also get a five hour dinner/lunch with cocina in movimiento, it really is perfect. In summary, had a great time.
Beautifull location, just need improve bringing a short continental breakfast early in the morning
Our stay at Hacienda La Lealtad was nothing short of paradise, thanks in no small part to our delightful interactions with the farm’s furry residents - Rambo the dog and Pepe the cat. Rambo’s boundless energy and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of joy to our experience, while Pepe’s gentle purrs and affectionate nuzzles made us feel right at home. Surrounded by the serenity of the farm and the picturesque beauty of the hacienda, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace and contentment wash over us. For anyone seeking a truly immersive retreat into nature’s embrace, I wholeheartedly recommend Hacienda La Lealtad. With its charming animals and tranquil atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to escape the chaos of modern life and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world. Our heartfelt thanks to Jan and the entire team for providing such a memorable experience.
