Cabin was exactly as advertised, and the hosts left a booklet with restaurant and activity recommendations. The loft was super cozy, but bear in mind both of us are shorter than average. We really want to come back soon to look at the gorgeous night sky from the front porch again!

Aaron's place met our expectations! It was a very clean house and provided the getaway that we were expecting. The ping pong table and dart board were a ton of fun and the quiet seclusion was nice. I'd agree with other reviews that there a few things to know ahead of time, but that doesn't take away from it, just something to know prior to booking. For future guests: 1. Ensure that you preload the directions on your phone as I had no service at the cabin itself. We had to go up the road to lookup anything, but the point of a remote cabin is to be off your phone anyways. 2. The water does have a smell to it. Thankfully, we were okay with drinking the bottled water that they kindly left a case of at the entrance to the living space.

We had a lovely quick getaway at Aaron's cabin in the woods. It's wonderful to be able to have an affordable location in the Finger Lakes and have some cash leftover for enjoying the area. Aaron's place was exactly as described. We were glad to bring our pup, too. Since she struggles with wood floor boards and stairs, we had to carry her up and down which may be worth noting if others bring pups that have the same issue. We loved the cozy feel and recreational toys offered. The water did have an "egg" smell as reported by others but that's often the case with well water. Bring a few gallons of spring water with you and you'll be fine. Grateful to have a little escape from life for a bit, thank you!

This location is a great quick stay and is fair given the price. Heads up that oven does not work. I was going to depend on cooking dinner, but had an unexpected surprise. There is a booklet of options nearby to go to, so that was helpful. The smells in this house are very strong. Given some may be from the sulfur water, but the alcohol stench is not from the sulfur😂 Overall worth the price I just wish I knew these things before staying.
