Flip Flops: Flip Flops is a luxury lodge, located on Sandhills Holiday Park in Mudeford, that looks out on Christchurch Harbour. It includes one double en-suite bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with plenty of storage space, and a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. The sizable kitchen is well equipped, including gas hob and oven, under counter fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Facing the harbour are full, room width bi-fold doors which open out onto a spacious deck. When the bi-fold doors are open the living space is vastly extended and there is a suite of outdoor lounge furniture plus a table and four chairs. It is perfectly positioned for catching the afternoon sun or watching the sun set. Bed linen and bathroom towels are included, however, please bring your own beach/pool towels. There is free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, DVD player in the lounge and wall mounted televisions in both bedrooms. There is private parking adjacent to the lodge.

Fabulous location with breathtaking views of the harbour and sunsets in the eve. Would be a great place to stay in all seasons as very cosy and lots to see even if the weather is bad.

Just the perfect holiday, of course when you are staying in this country its always weather dependent and we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine which meant that we had wonderful evenings sat on the terrace watching the sun set over the Quay, after an evening stroll along the promenade. Which is directly outside the lodge. Turn left and you've got the noisy Lobster restaurant, which serves up quality food and also does takeaway, turn right and past all the children enjoying some crabbing and you've local pub offerings. The location was perfect and the lodge itself was immaculate with everything you could wish for, our 20 month old daughter loved the on site playpark and outdoor paddling pool, whilst I enjoyed watching her and my wife with a cool beer on the sun terrace next to it. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a lovely, relaxing break at 'Flip Flops'. The large decking area is great for sitting out in the sun and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect too. Thank you!

Sandhills Holiday Park:
Sandhills Holiday Park is a relatively small boutique site with a lounge, bar, and small gym in the main reception building. There are heated swimming and paddling pools and a children's play area. It is a five minute walk to Avon Beach or Mudeford Quay.
Whether it is water sports (equipment to hire and lessons near Mudeford Quay), relaxing on Avon Beach, crabbing from the quay, walking to Highcliffe Castle, hiking around Hengistbury Head (crossing via ferry from Mudeford Quay), or loosing oneself in a good book lounging on the deck at Flip Flops, there is plenty to do.
Mudeford:
Mudeford was once a fishing village and is still home to working fishing boats. Pleasure fishing trips are available.
Eating out is an easy walk to either The Haven House Inn on Mudeford Quay or The Noisy Lobster on Avon Beach. There are numerous takeaways and shops close by.
Local Area:
Further afield is Christchurch to the west, Keyhaven and Lymington along the east coast and the New Forest National Park to the northeast.
Whether it is visiting historic places or exploring natural habitats, there is much to do from this great location. An extensive range of local attraction brochures are located at reception.
