Best little slice of Iowa! This home was not only in an adorable, quiet, and safe neighborhood, with so much within walking distance, but it is a true living piece of history too! Any history buff will enjoy the large selection of books and simply exploring and taking in the unique design of the home. The entire house has incredible natural lighting and all amenities were easy to use, including a mostly fully stocked kitchen (tool wise). The entryway with ping/pong & arcade game and the patio with seating are lovely additions that added something special. Please stay in this home if you are visiting anywhere near the Des Moines area!

We loved staying at The Metal House! Great location. Super cool decor! The instructions were clear and complete. Vanessa and Woody were both very responsive to any and all questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! 5 out of 5!!
