The rose garden community is located in long bay Portland . Its is a beautiful and safe place to stay, with friendly locals with whom you can engage in the real Jamaican culture. Long bay beach (one of the very few left in Jamaica where you don´t have to pay) sweeps for 1.5km, it often has strong breezes which offer great fun for jumping about in the waves. Lots of small, family-run shops for goods, very affordable cook shops and bars in walking vicinity. Although we are far away from busy towns we have lots of attractions. You will reach Port Antonio within 30 min by route taxi/250 JD per person.2 min there is an adventure park, 5 min from Long Bay there is Boston Beach. surf and with its famous jerk - the founding place of the jerk technique. Where you can get a wide range of jerk dishes The Blue Lagoon, Winnifred beach, San San beach, Bikini beach and Reach and Nanny Falls are in close proximity.

parking is easy you can pull off anywhere along the beach (free) you can go around by taxi (100)per person. Or I can arrange a drive for you
