We are forever grateful to Scott for very very last minute hosting our party of 7, when the Airbnb we had been staying at before his, had a power outage/electrical fire, and we had to pack up and leave and find a new place right away. He responded immediately and we were unpacking and settling into his home within 30 min. He was truly a life saver for us! On top of all that, the home was absolutely perfect: the style (we took pics of so many things for inspiration and asked for links so we could copy!), the cleanliness, the views, the incredibly comfortable and cozy beds, the bathrobes, the throw blankets… (i could keep going…) There was not a detail in this home that was missed. It was just the peaceful retreat we all needed and we all left feeling so refreshed but also we were all wishing we could have stayed even longer. We already miss the views, the deck, the hot tub and the sweet deer that came to visit during our morning coffee time outside. We can’t wait to come back!
Idyllwild is a quiet and cool getaway. The town has a bohemian charm and lots of hiking to do. Scott's place is very well appointed - everything you need, comfy furniture, great fireplace, etc. We were looking for something relaxing, and this was it!
Had a lovely stay. It snowed so we didn’t get much time for hiking. Enjoyed a nice day walking around town and a dip in hot tub. Had a wonderful time. The only thing I would mention and it’s not much, there is neighbors around. I was standing on the front bedroom patio and looked toward the neighbors house and someone was looking back. No big deal though all was fine.
Comfortable home for our family. The kids enjoyed exploring the property and loved hiking around the national forest land that backed the home. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
We had a wonderful stay and a great experience! Scott was a great host, he was very responsive, communicative, respectful and professional. The house is amazing and the location is beautiful! We would definitely recommend this house and we would definitely stay here again!
