Roula was a wonderful host from long before we arrived. Super responsive, very helpful, friendly and kind. Highly recommend the location and host. You won't find a better place!
Our stay with Roula was outstanding! For NYC, the unit was extremely large, everything was super clean, and the mattress was so comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided and Roula was very kind - lending us umbrellas and responding to any inquiries very promptly. The subway was only a 10-15 minute walk away, or the bus stop is right outside the door. We'd never taken the bus in NYC before (always relying on subways), but the close proximity of the bus stops made it so convenient. Unfortunately it rained for 4 of our 7 days, so getting the bus saved us getting wet. We spent one of our days exploring the Astoria area, which includes many Greek restaurants. As noted in the listing, Astoria Park is nearby and affords a close-up view of the RFK and Hell's Gate bridges. While the weather could have been better, the unit was wonderful and at a very reasonable price by NYC standards.
We stayed five days at Roulas place with three adults to visit New York. Everything was as described or even better, 2 bedrooms, a big kitchen/living room and bathroom, equipped with all that you need. During our stay it was really hot (35 degrees C) but the aircon kept the apartment on a moderate level. 10mins walk to the subway, another 20mins to TimeSquare, little restaurants and shops in walking distance. Roula was on vacation during our trip but her niece Effie welcomed us and showed us everything. Not a cheap place (what is "cheap" in NYC???) but worth the money! Highly recommended and hopefully we´ll come back one day
